Thank you to you all for taking time to visit our new website.
We are also joined by many new sponsors, which we are genuinely pleased to have on board our journey.
Welcome to the Players, Coaches and Management staff of our Senior and Youth teams and of course the parents/guardians who take their valued time to bring their child to training and matches.
Throughout the past 8 years where I have been involved in the progress of the youth section, and my subsequent journey as Chairman at Luton Town Ladies FC, I offer my sincere thanks to you all for your hard work and effort.
Team Spirit and Appreciation
We have a great spirit throughout and have stayed together and believed in the decisions made with patience and support for the Club.
To grow as we have, sometimes is often forgotten and not appreciated, that to have successful teams you must have the right infrastructure and strategies in place. Committees and a Board in place just shows the vision and integrity of the club.
To all the people inc Coaches/Admin, I would like to thank them for their invaluable assistance. We appreciate the hard work and commitment they along with the volunteers, continue to show LTLFC and the support they offer me personally.
I would also like to thank all our sponsors (listed on the website) who over the last few years have shown faith in the club and our vision.
Progress and Success
We are now at the stage of our younger players having progressed through the youth into the Reserves and 1st team of the Ladies National squad and others have improved and developed their skills and growth.
We have seen in the past 12 months a few players have experienced trials at professional clubs and moved into Academies for the WSL. We have seen teams progress to winning many Cups/Tournaments and Leagues in the season.
Success is difficult measure and not a simple task, however, seeing the growth and enquiries to join the club and wishing to wear the badge is great to see.
The progress will continue, and growing relationships with Luton Town FC enabling the Ladies 1st team to play at the stadium and a willingness to work together to integrate the youth sides as well is where we have been working towards.
Challenges
Last season has seen challenges for all of us and decisions difficult to make when providing new teams to incorporate new girls into the pathway. Our pathway is so important to us and working together with
Bedfordshire FA and LTFC will give us the facilities necessary to attract new players and coaches.
Being Chairman is an honour and I will be continuing to give my all and provide the girls with a club and pathway to enable them to enjoy football and continue to develop. I believe that this club can continue its good work.
Exciting Future Ahead for Luton Town Ladies
Luton Town Ladies is a great club and with the Ladies Senior team top of the ERWFL and hopefully in the Womens National League next season, continuing the proud history the club has from the days of playing the teams now in the Womens Super League.
We have 19 youth teams this season along with the 2 Senior teams.
We have been working hard to secure new training/matchday locations, which is enabling our next step in the club development plan, so watch this space.
